When you want to create a PDF simply press print, and then choose PDF creator as your printer. Once you click print a pop up will guide you through the process of adding a title and author to your PDF and then ask you where to save it.
I find it especially useful as a print preview function for applications that don’t have it. Or in Firefox when I want to preview how a selected section of of a web page will print.

ForecastFox puts a highly customizable forecast inside Firefox. You can include up to a 5 day forecast with temperature, precipitation type, wind speed and other information as well as the current conditions including heat index or wind chill and the current radar image for your location. ForecastFox will also pop up severe weather alerts, such as thunderstorm, tornado, or winter weather warnings.

Audible is the internet re-incarnation of books on tape. They have over 50,000 books to choose from. Once you’ve selected your book, you download it and sync it to nearly any portable audio player, or one of thousands of PDAs, smart phones, GPS and other devices that support Audible. Books typically run about $10 to $25 and you can usually get your first one or two for free if you do a quick search for a coupon code. They also offer a subscription plan where books cost around $10-$12 depending on the plan. Even with a subscription, once you buy the book, it’s yours to keep, even if you cancel the subscription.
